For the sake of better ice cream, I would say it's not a battle lost in vain. Don't bring yourself down over adding 30 cents to your product, especially when your product benefits because of it. From what I've seen (and I've only been to your stall once), nobody minds. In fact, everyone walks away with a smile on their face after visiting your stall, which is more than I can say for 90% of the hawkers around the island.

Aunty has gotten over the shock quite quickly. I think she is quite used to things like this. She warned me of theft when we first started the shop. So we never kept any cash on the premises from the first day.

Oh don't be mistaken! I actually prefer my ice creams "sweet". Or should I say sweet over sour. And I don't really like sorbets in the first place. Just that you put milk in them so they're not that sugary sweet.

Auntie told me she's making grapefruit today though.

Nice thanks for dropping by, I was a bit concerned that we might run out of the cola gelato before you arrived. Glad you got to it in time.

I realize you like sour flavours. Not many people do. I had a really sour and bitter grapefruit sorbet that tastes exactly like the fruit frozen and everyone just thinks I lost it. So decided to give that a break for a while.

It's nice to get feedback I hate to say it but sometimes after tasting all the ice cream that we make before freezing, after freezing, before sticking it in the display, my tastebuds get a bit numb.

The aunty said that somebody was taking photos today. OOh its you :)

Oh by the way we just made cola gelato which we will replace the chemadek with. Okay I don't think authentic gelaterias have cola gelato but thought we would try something fun.(It tastes like a cola float).

Hello! I went down to your stall today to try your gelato! Some flavors are really good while others need some fine-tuning. :) I love the black sesame and peanut. They are both very fragrant! My friend thought so too! The chempedak & coconut sorbet wasn't too good unfortunately. It's got quite an unpleasant coconut oil aftertaste.

Thanks for the suggestion thats a good one. I have been so caught up with trying to get things running smoothly that I forgot the most important thing of all. I will try to include photos of the available flavors in the coming post.

I have no idea how to seal a finished chalkboard piece. My first thought was a spraycan of Polyurethane. But I would test on a small chalkboard first. My suggestion to you, is to ask at a location where you see a sealed chalkboard...ask what they did.

I'm sure you've looked online for info - probably that's how you found me!

I like the way your chalkboard is looking - it will be great.
